Burst of Spring

60” x 48” Oil on Canvas

The Birth of Saraswati …

 Work in Progress

This work portrays Saraswati on her birthday, which is considered to be the first day of Spring.

She sits upon a white lotus playing the Veena, her music resonating with the cosmic strings and primal patterns of the Universe, bursting Spring back into the year.
She sits at the mouth of the Saraswati River, now a desert, and manifests into reality the  creative imagination of Brahma.

Akashic Wormhole … 24” x 18” Oil on Canvas

Within the Omniverse, there exist corridors that bridge the Universes. In the ancient tongue they are called deori and roughly translated as dream tunnel. In a sense they are libraries. Their function is to not only offer passage between worlds, but also be a repository for all the memories, thoughts and dreams of all those that pass through. These Akashic Wormholes help us define, assess and redefine our direction as we evolve forward through our many lives. In the chaos, you ground yourself to a singularity and the knowledge gravitates to your consciousness. From there you have access to whatever information you are looking for. It even comes equipped with a good old fashioned help desk.Artist: Keith Prossick
